Alvord Insurance Agency was founded by Paul Alvord in 1937, the Agency has since been in Chardon.
Being family owned, we are here to service you just as we would expect our own family to be serviced.

Serah Kalcher
PRESIDENT
I started my Insurance Career with a Captive Agent in 2013. While I enjoyed learning the ins and outs of insurance, it was a whole new world when I started at an Independent Agency. The options are endless. I have been with Alvord Insurance Agency, since 2014. In January 2020, my husband and I purchased the Agency. We want to continue to give our customers the coverage, respect, and options they deserve! The best feeling is not only saving you money, but knowing we are protecting your assets while doing it! In my spare time, you can find me spending time with my family, in the sunshine!

I have been involved in Customer Service Relations since 2008. My want to help others is something that has always helped me strive towards my goal. In 2020, my wife and I purchased the Alvord Insurance Agency and it was just right, to build our own family business. I strive to build that personal connection with each and every customer! In my spare time, you can find me doing any type of project, that involves the outdoors, especially mowing my grass!
